Capstone Staffing is operated by Capstone Tech ("we", "us"). Staffing branches use Capstone Staffing to recruit job applicants, schedule workers for shifts, and communicate with them by text message. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, mobile phone number, email address, and ZIP code.
- Job details: the kinds of work you want, your availability, experience, and certifications.
- Text messages you send to and receive from a branch, and the date, time, and source of your texting consent.
- Basic technical data when you use our web pages, such as IP address and browser type.
How we use it
- To review your application and screen you for open positions.
- To offer you shifts, confirm them, and send reminders.
- To complete onboarding and hiring paperwork.
- To answer your questions and keep records required by law.
Text messaging (SMS)
We text you only if you agree to it, for example by checking the consent box on an application form or by texting the branch first. Messages cover your application, shift offers, confirmations, reminders, and onboarding. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With the staffing branch you applied to or work with.
- With client worksites where you are scheduled, limited to what they need (such as your name and shift).
- With service providers that run the service for us, such as our text message carrier, payroll provider, and hosting provider, who may use it only to provide those services.
- When required by law or to protect someone's safety.
Sensitive information
Do not text Social Security or bank account numbers. If you do, our system deletes them before the message is stored. Payroll details are collected through our payroll provider's secure form.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information while you are an applicant or worker and as long as employment and tax records require. To ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion, email us at the address below.
